Dr. Fisher Smith is a licensed clinical psychologist with primary interests in psychological development, attachment theory, and trauma recovery. She conducts comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments for various conditions and diagnoses including ADHD, specific learning differences, autism spectrum disorders, as well as personality disorders, mood disorders and psychotic conditions.

Dr. Fisher Smith adopts a humanistic and existential approach to treatment, one that values empathy as a core feature of the therapeutic alliance. She helps patients find relief from debilitating symptoms while also collaboratively working with the patient to create and find purpose and meaning in their lives. She also employs evidence-based approaches including interpersonal and dialectical behavior therapies.
